Eligibility
The BABA Contest is open to all actors, regardless of experience level or background. The only requirements are:
Your submission must be original work performed by you
You must use one or more of the scripts provided on our Scripts/Scenes page
Your video must meet the technical requirements specified
You must submit before the deadline (January 15, 2026)
How It Works - The Contest Nuts and Bolts
The Best Actor, Best Actress Contest is structured like a TEAM VIDEO ENTRY. All actors with speaking roles in the contest video will be judged.
Contest Structure
Single contest fee covers all actors in your video
Entry fee increases by $5 at each new entry window level
Team up with 2-6 actors for speaking roles
Choose from five scripts/scene packets

If you choose a character with a small part, you must also choose another scene or short script so judges can properly evaluate your performance.
